Frequently Asked Questions

Sizing & Fit

How do I know which size to order?
We recommend checking the size chart listed on each product page before ordering. Because boutique styles can vary in fit, your usual size may not always be the best size for every item.

Are your clothes true to size?
Fit varies by style. When an item runs small, oversized, fitted, or has significant stretch, we’ll note it in the product description so you can shop with more confidence.

Do your clothes have stretch?
Some do and some don’t. Look for our Stretch Level on applicable product pages, where we’ll tell you whether the fabric has little, moderate, or high stretch.

Do you carry plus sizes?
Yes. Available sizing varies by style, so check the size options on each product page.

What if I’m between sizes?
Check the fit notes and stretch level first. For more fitted pieces with limited stretch, sizing up may provide a more comfortable fit. For high-stretch styles, your regular size may work well.

Fabric & Product Details

What does the fabric feel like?
We’re adding more detailed fabric information to our product pages so you know what you’re ordering before it arrives. Look for Fabric & Feel for descriptions such as lightweight, soft, ribbed, structured, smooth, breathable, or stretchy.

Is the item see-through?
When opacity may be a concern, we’ll tell you. Look for our Opacity & Lining information to see whether a garment is opaque, slightly sheer, sheer, lined, or designed to be layered.

Is the item lined?
Not every garment is lined. When lining is important to the fit or coverage of an item, we’ll include that information on the product page.

Are the colors exactly as pictured?
We work to represent colors as accurately as possible. However, lighting, photography and individual screen settings can cause slight differences in how a color appears.

Are accessories shown in the photos included?
Unless specifically stated in the product description, jewelry, handbags, shoes, belts and other styling accessories shown in photographs are sold separately or are for styling purposes only.

Dresses, Skirts & Workwear

How long will the dress or skirt be on me?
Length will vary depending on your height and body proportions. When available, we’ll provide garment measurements or model information to help you estimate where the item may fall.

Can I wear this to work?
Many of our pieces are selected with professional women in mind. We recommend considering your individual workplace dress code, but we’ll also provide styling suggestions to help you determine whether a piece works for the office, meetings, interviews or after-work occasions.

Can I wear a sheer blouse to the office?
Absolutely, depending on your workplace dress code and how you style it. Our sheer pieces can be layered with camisoles, tanks, bodysuits or blazers to create additional coverage.

Will I need shapewear?
Shapewear is always a personal choice, not a requirement. When a garment has a relaxed, forgiving or body-skimming fit, we’ll call that out in the product description.

Ordering & Inventory

Will sold-out items be restocked?
Some styles may return, while others are available only in limited quantities. If a restock notification is available, we recommend signing up so you’ll be among the first to know.

Why are some boutique items available in limited quantities?
We intentionally carry select styles rather than massive quantities of every item. This allows us to offer a more curated selection instead of a closet full of copy-and-paste fashion.

Can I reserve an item?
Unless otherwise stated, merchandise cannot be held without payment. Adding an item to your cart does not guarantee availability until checkout is completed.

What happens if something sells out while it’s in my cart?
Items are not reserved simply by adding them to your cart. If quantities are limited, another customer may purchase the item before you complete checkout.

Styling & Shopping Help

I like an item, but I’m not sure how I would wear it. What should I do?
Start by thinking about what you already own. Many of our pieces are selected because they can move between work, weekends, church, dinners and other parts of your life. Check the product description and our social channels for styling inspiration.

How many ways should I be able to wear something before buying it?
There’s no magic number, but we love the three-outfit test. Before purchasing, ask yourself whether you can picture at least three outfits using pieces already in your closet. If you can, you’re probably looking at something that will earn its hanger space.

I’m rebuilding my work wardrobe. Where should I start?
Start with versatile pieces you can mix and repeat: trousers, skirts, blouses, dresses and layering pieces. Then add color and statement pieces that give those basics personality.

Do professional clothes have to be black, navy or gray?
Not around here. 😊 Professional dressing can absolutely include color, prints and personality. The goal is to find pieces that feel polished and appropriate for your environment without dressing like your personality has been placed on administrative leave.

Can your clothes be worn outside of work?
Definitely. We intentionally look for pieces that can have more than one life. A work dress can become a dinner look, a blouse can move from trousers to jeans, and a skirt set can be worn together or separated into multiple outfits.
